Discord recently released a blog post announcing a collaboration with WEBTOON, offering eligible users a 1-month Discord Nitro membership for free. This article will provide you with all the details of this event.

Event Rules
There are still some restrictions to this event, and not everyone can receive a 1-month Discord Nitro membership unconditionally. Let’s see if you meet the requirements.
Event Reward: 1-Month Discord Nitro Membership
Event Period: Starting from May 10, 2023 (10:00am PT) to June 8, 2023 (11:59pm PT)
Who Can Participate:
- Within the past 12 months, your Discord account must not have used the Discord Nitro membership plan. (If you have only used Nitro Basic, Nitro Classic, or Server Boosting, you still qualify, but please refer to the notes section below for exceptions).
- Residents outside of Russia.
Important Notes:
- To use the gifted 1-month Discord Nitro membership, you need to provide payment information in your Discord account, and the auto-renewal feature will be enabled by default. You need to manually disable the auto-renewal to avoid automatic payment renewal after the free 1-month period expires.

- If you have already purchased Nitro Basic or Nitro Classic membership before redeeming the 1-month Discord Nitro membership, the redemption will automatically replace your Nitro Basic or Nitro Classic membership. Any remaining time for Nitro Basic or Nitro Classic membership will be lost, and no refund will be provided. Please consider the remaining time of your original Nitro Basic or Nitro Classic membership to avoid any potential loss.
- The expiration date for the redemption link of the 1-month Discord Nitro obtained in this event is August 20, 2023 (11:59pm PT). After this time, the redemption link will become invalid.
How to Obtain the Redemption Code
Step 1: Download the WEBTOON Mobile App
To receive the event reward, you must use the mobile app version. The rewards cannot be obtained through the desktop version. Even if you complete the tasks on the desktop version, the system will eventually ask you to download the mobile app.

Step 2: Change the Language Version of WEBTOON Comics
You can skip this step if WEBTOON is already in English.
For this event, you need to read the Wumpus comic, which is only available in English. If you have a non-English version, you won’t be able to find the Wumpus comic. Therefore, you need to change the language version of WEBTOON to English.
To change the language, click on the three dots in the bottom right corner of the app interface, then select “Settings.” Next, choose “Comic Language Version” and adjust the language to “English.”

Step 3: Search for Wumpus Wonderventures: Discord Webcomic.
After adjusting the comic language version, enter “Wumpus” in the search bar. The first result that appears will be “Wumpus Wonderventures: Discord Webcomic.” Click on it to start reading.

Step 4: Read the complete series of 4 episodes
Wumpus Wonderventures: Discord Webcomic consists of 4 episodes. After reading each episode, a progress prompt window will appear. You will earn 1 stamp for each completed episode. Once you have collected all 4 stamps, a redemption page will appear where you can fill in your email address.

Step 5: Fill in your email address and wait to receive the email
When the following window pops up, you can fill in your email address. According to Discord’s official Q&A for this event, you may have to wait up to 72 hours to receive this email. Please be patient.
Once you receive the email, you can redeem the free 1-month Discord Nitro membership by logging into your Discord account.
